If we fail to reach our “...Jerusalem...” we will not have a church left to send missionaries from. Our Jerusalem is the area where we are located, it is our city.  The mission is to go “...house to house...” to every one in our area.  We are to make sure people hear the Gospel.  This is part of the great work of home missions. Every member of the church should consider themselves a missionary to there “...Jerusalem...” There are many ministries in our church that are geared to reach every person who lives in our city. The people who serve in these ministries are missionaries to Jerusalem. It is in the Jerusalem ministry that we train people to go to the end of the earth with the Gospel.
